Government of India Ministry of Defense in its approach to formation of Police as well as exhortation to start high quality residential school under Sainik School Society on the basis of Sainik Schools run by the State Government for establishment and management of such Sainik Schools was under consideration. The state education department has decided to consider a policy to encourage voluntary organizations through social participation. To encourage partners to manage the setting up of schools through social partnership so that a total of five thousand students from classes six to 12 can get education in high quality residential military schools for career opportunities in the armed forces and the objective of these schools is to educate students about the country's defense services. Entrance State Level Common Interest Test will be conducted in these schools to select bright and willing students who are preparing for a career in Paramilitary Services and Police Services.

A proposal for administrative sanction of Rs 525 lakhs has been approved in the budget of the year 20223 to start 10 Raksha Shakti Schools under Social Partnership by the State Government in different areas of that State.

Each school campus should have an ideal of 500 students however the land and required school campus will have a maximum capacity of 1000 students thus 10 Raksha Shakti Schools will be established across the state out of which two Raksha Shakti Schools will be for girl students.

Rajdhara registered Government Non-Government Organizations Private Organizations Co-operative Societies can apply for establishment of Raksha Shakti School under Sanghas with a lead party or consortium of institutes will also be considered for establishment of these schools.

All the capital investment for establishment and operation of Raksha Shakti School will be done by the project partner.
