 ધોરણ 7 પ્રકરણ ત્રણ માં આવતો પરીક્ષા એ એક સરસ મજા ની બોધ કથા છે. આ બોધ કથા શ્રી પન્નાલાલ પટેલ લિખિત છે. આ બોધ કથા માં શિષ્યવૃત્તિની પરીક્ષા નું સરસ મજાનું આલેખન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. મહાદેવ નામનો એક છોકરો શિષ્યવૃત્તિની પરીક્ષા આપવા જતો હોય છે ત્યારે તે તેના મિત્રો સાથે ખેતરોની વચ્ચે ની કેડી વટાવતા વટાવતા  જતા હોય છે ત્યારે વસંતનો વાયરો વાતો હોય છે અને ઘઉંના મોલ ઉપરથી પક્ષીઓ ઉડતા હોય છે .સોનેરી રંગ પોતાની છટા લહેરાવતો જાય છે. બધા જ બાળકો પોતપોતાની મસ્તીમાં વાતો કરતા જતા હોય છે અને મહાદેવની નજર દૂર ઊભેલી એક હરાઇ ગાય ઉપર પડે છે. એને ચિંતા થાય છે કે આ હરાઇ ગાય પાક નો ભુક્કો બોલાવી નાખશે. એટલે મહાદેવ તે ગાયને ખેતરમાંથી બહાર હાંકવા જાય છે પણ એ ગાય એક ખેતરમાંથી બીજા ખેતરમાં બીજા માંથી ત્રીજામાં દોડતી રહે છે છેલ્લે ઘણી બધી મહેનત પછી મહાદેવ તે ગાયને છીંડા દ્વારા ખેતરની બહાર કાઢે છે અને શાળા તરફ પ્રયાણ કરે છે. મહાદેવ શાળાએ પહોંચે છે ત્યારે પરીક્ષા શરૂ થઈ ગઈ હોય છે પરંતુ મહાદેવ ની સંપૂર્ણ વાર્તા ઇન્સ્પેક્ટર સાહેબ આગળ રજૂ કરી દે છે અને ઇન્સ્પેકટર સાહેબ માનવતાના ધોરણે મહાદેવને પરીક્ષામાં બેસવ...

Under the scheme, small and marginal farming families who have joint / owned 2 hectares of land will be given income assistance of Rs. 6,000 / - per annum in three equal installments.
