The state government primary schools are celebrating the new academic year after three years. The new academic session will be held from June 15, when the vacation ends in the state on June 12. The school entrance ceremony will be held on June 21, 22 and 23 in urban and rural areas for three days. Thus, the entrance ceremony will be held 3 days after the commencement of the new academic session, while the first day of the session, i.e. the 3rd of June, will have a high level government meeting to map out a no road map for the entrance ceremony. For the last few years, the entrance ceremony has been organized by the state government for the maximum number of students enrolled in the state government schools. No entrance ceremony has been held in Gujarat for the last two years. In which the entrance ceremony was not held due to hurricane Toukte and also due to Corona. Now that the corona has receded in the state and schools have also started regular, the entrance ceremony will be celebrated in the new academic year. It is to be mentioned that due to Corona, there has been no actual teaching work of the students in the schools during the last two years due to which the guideline on how to reduce the learning loss will also be conveyed to the schools during the entrance ceremony. Apart from this, in view of the forthcoming assembly elections, the Vidya Samiksha Kendra can also spread the word about education in Gujarat.





Anita Karwal emphasizes on learning without stress, ten days without workbook


On the second day of the National Conference organized by the Gujarat State Education Department of the Government of India, there was a presentation and brainstorming on the topic of Learning Loss during National Education Policy Corona and how to use technology in education. Meanwhile, Anita Karwal, Secretary, School Education, Union Ministry of Education, said that the new education policy stipulates that there should be ten days in a year in which students should not carry school bags. During the ideal day children visit different places and get information about it. He further added that not a single child should be out of school and should not be dropped out till Std-12. Kasturiranjan, the framer of the new education policy, said that the preparation of the new education policy started in the year 2015. Released in the year 2020, creative inputs have been taken from many scholars to formulate education policy. He further added that with the leaps and bounds of development in all fields of science, the socio-economic, educational and environmental aspects of the country are constantly changing at a time when education policy is aimed at empowering the youth of India for the 21st century. The Prime Minister's pain is to believe that India will grow to the point where it will become an example to the world in terms of education.
