At present the government is very kind to the central employees. Now once again their celery is about to grow. The 3 per cent hike in inflation allowance has once again paved the way for a big increase in the salaries of central employees. After increasing the DA from 31 to 34 per cent, there is a possibility of an increase in the allowances of many central employees soon. Central employees can get an additional benefit of four allowances simultaneously.

According to the Seventh Pay Commission, after 34 per cent increase in allowance, travel allowance and city allowance of central employees will also increase. Along with this, provident fund and gratuity will also increase automatically. In fact, the monthly PF and gratuity of central employees are calculated from the basic salary and DA. In such a scenario, PF and gratuity are sure to increase due to increase in DA. Not only that, the increase in DA will also increase the House Rent Allowance (HRA) of central employees. That being said, this increase could be up to 3 percent.

Let me tell you that on March 30, 2022, the Central Government increased the DA of Central Employees by 3%. Due to which the DA of central employees has doubled in 9 months. Central employees and pensioners are now getting DA and DR at 34 per cent. The central government's announcement has directly benefited 50 lakh employees and 65 lakh pensioners. However, it will cost the government Rs. 9544.50 crore burden has been increased.

Meanwhile, the Central Employees Union is also pushing the government for 18-month arrears. These people are saying that the Supreme Court has ruled that salaries and allowances are the right of the employees and cannot be stopped. In such a scenario, there is pressure to pay the outstanding DA balance from January 2020 to June 2021. In such a scenario, good news can also be heard about the DA rest of the central employees.

Meanwhile, the DA of central employees and pensioners is likely to increase once again in July. This time, the DA of central employees could increase by up to 4 per cent.
