Government finally succumbs to pressure from administrators for fourth quarter school fees

According to Corona's old SOP, offline classes will start, online education will also continue

The state government has announced the resumption of offline education in schools from Std 1 to 9 from Monday, February 7. This information was given by state education minister Jitu Waghan in a tweet after consultation with chief minister Bhupendra Patel and discussion in the core group. As per his suggestion, this decision has been taken keeping in view the interest of the student's study as the number of corona cases is decreasing in the state. Online and offline education for Std. 1 to 9 will be started from 7th February with the consent of parents as per old SOP (Corona guidelines). It is to be mentioned that offline education was stopped from 7th January after 4213 cases were received on 6th January.

Administrators were pressuring the government for a fourth quarter fee

The government waived a quarter of school fees in the last academic year. Former education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama had promised to waive a quarter of school fees this year as well. But the new Education Minister Jitu Waghan has not killed Mugabe on this issue till today. Now, three quarters have been completed and a government official himself has admitted that there is tremendous pressure on the government to reopen schools so that the fourth quarter fees do not have to be spent in the name of online education. In this situation, the government is also rumored to be siding with the school administrators.
