The decision of mass promotion can be taken away from the proper bridge course
Educationist Kirit Joshi says that the Gujarat government has made continuous efforts to minimize the harmful effects of the Koro epidemic on education. However, students and parents are constantly under stress due to the inability of school education to become regular. It is commendable that the Department of Education then decided on mass promotion in Std. 1 to 9 and 11. It has relieved millions of students from the fear of exams. It is a personal humble suggestion to the education department that while giving mass promotion to the children, the education department should prepare a 10 to 15 day bridge course linking the courses of the graded standards with the brilliant teachers of the state so that the raw material left in the children does not become a problem next year. The bridge course curriculum literature should start at the beginning of the time when the natural disaster of Corona is over and regular teaching work begins.
