It was raining and Dr. R.P. Yadav was going somewhere in the car with his wife. Then he saw 4 girls soaking in the rain on the road. Yadavji stopped his car and gave him a lift. During the conversation with him, he found out that he walks 4-5 kilometers every day and goes to the bus stop to go to college. The girls told Yadavji's wife that boys often teased her.
Yadav's wife was unhappy with this and asked her husband if he could help the girls. Answering this, he asked his wife, "If we had a daughter today, how much would have been spent on her studies and marriage." The wife said- '18-20 lakh rupees'.
After hearing his wife's reply, Yadav withdrew Rs 19 lakh from his PF fund the next day and bought a bus for the girls going to college. For the last one year 60 students from nearby villages have been going to college in the bus operated by them.
The name of this bus service is 'Free Betty Vahini'. With this service, the young women of Sikar district of Rajasthan are not only safe, but their dreams have come true. Even her parents have now started sending locks to their daughters. Earlier he was afraid to send a lockage due to his safety concerns,
The bus costs around Rs 36,000 per month for diesel. The salaries of the driver and the conductor are different. The entire cost is borne by Dr. Yadav. Yadavji is a pediatrician at the Government Hospital in Sikar, Rajasthan, who is retiring very soon.
There are many issues related to the safety of women, but there are very few people who go ahead and try to end this problem. Dr. Yadav is one of the few
