Matter of announcing the date of National Means cum Merit Scholarship.
A scheme called National Means cum Merit Scholarship has been implemented by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi for the students studying in Std. came. This examination will be held on Sunday 19th 2022 at all taluka centers of all districts. Information about this will be given by District Primary Education Officer and Govt. And these schools are requested to inform the students as well.
A scheme called National Means cum Merit Scholarship has been implemented for the students studying in Std. 8 with the objective of reducing the drop out rate in secondary and higher secondary schools. The examination will be held in the near future by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar to select the students. Applications for this examination should be filled online on the website of State Examination Board from 31-12-2021 to 19-1-2022.
Scholarship amount and payment rules
After the examination, the students who come in merit in the fixed quota with district wise category will be eligible for scholarships of Rs.
Payment of Scholarship Amount As per the guideline of Ministry of Human Resource Development, eligible students apply fresh and renewal application on National Scholarship Portal and the application is verified on National Scholarship Portal by the concerned school and concerned District Nodal Officer. Will be credited directly to the beneficiary student's bank account.
Student Qualification
Students who are studying in standard eight government primary school local body schools in the current academic year will be given N.M.M. Will be able to give S exam.
Income limit As decided for NMMS examination, the annual income of a candidate's guardian should not exceed 150,000.
Examination fee
Examination fee for general category and OBC category students will be Rs.70.
Examination fee for PHSC and ST category students will be Rs.50.
The service charge has to be paid separately.
