Matter of allowing appointment of traveling teachers for Rajdeep honorarium education work.
In the government aided primary schools run by the district and town education committee of the state, a scheme has been introduced by the government to provide education on honorarium basis till the vacancies of teachers are filled regularly. Approval has been given to appoint traveling teachers for the current academic year 2021. The traveling teachers of all the districts were instructed to submit the application form for permission. Considering the demand form received from the district, within the limit of the grant sanctioned by the education department, allocation of district wise traveling teachers is made according to Annexure one to three. Within the limits of the district wise allotted traveling teachers District Education Officer Shri District Primary Education Officer Govt. It will be seen that the number of teachers will not increase as per the approved establishment of primary schools having vacancies as per the date of appointment of traveling teachers from 31 31-2022. At the local level, the school headmaster will have to decide on the appointment of a senior teacher in the school and the school management committee to jointly appoint a traveling teacher. Where there is a school with one teacher in the schools run by the District Education Committee, in cases where a winning teacher is eligible, such schools should be given priority for the traveling teacher. Mathematics and science teachers should be given priority in upper primary schools. Candidates with fixed qualifications will have to be appointed for the vacant posts of Std. 1 to 8 and Std. 6 to 8. The school wise list of the school in which the appointment has been made has been collected from the district level. Hard copy and soft copy should be submitted by the office by 15 3 2022. No leave or exemption may be given to traveling teachers in the ongoing academic activities. The regular teacher class teaching work is handled by the traveling teacher. In the subsidized primary schools, a traveling teacher will have to be arranged for the missing teacher in the designated student-teacher. According to the resolution of the Department of Education, where there is no system, the maximum daily wage will be Rs. Appropriate arrangements will have to be made at the district level to check whether the work is being done properly in the place appointed by the traveling teachers and to avoid paying unnecessary work.
