Matter of educational facilities to the children of soldiers who were martyred in the war
The income limit has been abolished to take advantage of the scheme for educating the children of soldiers who have been martyred in the war. It is requested that the proposal for providing war concession facilities for the year be sent to the 10th office.
- Will only apply to students studying in government and non-government granted schools.
- This scheme will be applicable to the children of soldiers who were martyred and wounded in the war.
- There is no income limit for availing this scheme.
- Benefits like student fees, uniforms, educational equipment, hostel expenses, etc. are available for availing benefits under this scheme. The prescribed application, Aadhaar card, bank account details, government proof that the student's father is a soldier, death certificate or the basis of wounded in battle are to be obtained from such student.
The details of the beneficiary should be sent in the prescribed form along with the grounds on the basis of which the grant will be allotted.
