PM Kisan is a Central Sector Scheme with 100% funding from the Government of India. It has been operational since 1.12.2018. Under the scheme, small and marginal farming families who have joint / owned 2 hectares of land will be given income assistance of Rs. 6,000 / - per annum in three equal installments. The family definition for the plan is husband, wife and minor children. State funds will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The first installment for the period 1.12.2018 to 31.03.2019 is to be paid in the financial year only. There are different categories for the plan.



The eighth installment of Kisan Sanman Nidhi No * ₹ 2000 will be credited to the farmers account soon.
